Carina Alanson is a writer, coach, and teacher. She is passionate about helping women grow in their relationship with God, discover and walk out their purpose, and enjoy everyday life. A former professional counselor, she has degrees in psychology and counseling. Emily Sue Allen is the founder of the Kindred Mom blog and host of the Kindred Mom podcast. Soul care for moms and helping women find joy in the midst of their motherhood journey are among her greatest passions. She is a contemplative, creative soul who celebrates the beauty of a humble, handmade life and deeply values the power of encouragement.

Monica has been married to Gary for 34 years and they reside on family farmland outside El Campo, a small town along the Texas Gulf Coast. They’re empty nesters, but the best job God ever gave Monica is being mom to their adventurous daughter, Meredith. Family means everything to Monica and together they share a love of the outdoors, road-trip adventures, and exploring the history of people and places.

A Scottish native, Vicki now calls Upstate New York home, where she lives with her husband and two young daughters. A writer turned editor, she loves to encourage women to pursue Jesus-centered, joy-filled living in the gloriously hard and wonderful trenches of motherhood. Being part of the Joyful Life team and community is both a blessing and a privilege, providing an opportunity for her to combine her gifts and passions in a unique and special way to speak truth into the hearts and lives of women.

Kris Camealy

Kris plays house with her husband in middle Ohio, where she is raising her 4 kids while writing books at her kitchen counter. She is the author of Come, Lord Jesus: The Weight of Waiting and the Director of Refine {the retreat}, a Christ-centered, yearly women’s event. Kristin Demery

Kristin Demery is a wife and mom whose background in journalism has led to many roles, from managing a social networking site for moms to working as an editorial assistant for an academic journal. Kristin has co-authored several books, including three indie publications and her most recent, The One Year Daily Acts of Kindness devotional (Tyndale, 2017). Kristin loves staying up way too late, spending sun-soaked days at Madeline Island with her family, sipping campfire mochas, thrifting, and gift giving. Tara Dickson

Tara is a recent widow and mother to four children. Following her husband’s death to, brain cancer in 2016, she began writing to help people find hope in hard places. She also writes children’s fiction, and is an agented author with Credo Communications.

Ellie Di Julio is a world-traveling, wordbending, Type 1 INFJ who went looking for God and found Him. After falling for a Robert Downey, Jr. lookalike, she moved from Missouri to Ontario where she turned her hand from English education to life coaching to urban fantasy novels, and eventually, to motherhood. Her background as a spiritual nomad and psychology buff has forged an offbeat lens through which she sees the wonder of God, a view she shares by blending serious hermeneutics and nerd metaphors. Marnie writes about learning that freedom isn’t found in perfectly completed checklists, but in knowing God deeper and hearing Him louder. Wife for 25 years and boy mama (15, 12, & 9), Marnie’s day job revolves around taming the stinky, scraping off the sticky, and distributing boys to the places they go in suburban Cincinnati.

Ginger McPherson is a writer, Bible teacher, and pastor’s wife in Oklahoma who traded her busy life as a college professor for a spaghetti-stained apron and the full-time role of stay-at-home mom for her three littles (7, 5, and 3).
