“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23 ESV

Sandi Sutton2

Hi! I’m Sandi and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a wife and mom to 5 children, 3 of whom are not really children anymore! I have 4 boys (23, 20, 17, and 12) and a 5-year-old daughter. While running a magazine has always been a dream of mine, it took many years to arrive at a place of peace about stepping out in faith to begin The Joyful Life. I write at sandisutton.com and I’m a photographer by profession. I’m so grateful for the ability to use the creative work experience God blessed me with over the past decade toward something that will be intentionally used for His glory. This magazine is born out of a desire to encourage women to grow into a closer and deeply authentic relationship with Jesus by inviting Him wholeheartedly into their daily lives. I believe that ALL of life is ALL for Jesus and my hope is that The Joyful Life will be an inspiring reflection of that.

When I’m not managing the day to day tasks of running the magazine, you can usually find me running here, there and everywhere with my kids, watching Fixer Upper or Hawaii Life with my husband (we were married in Kauai – so it’s like a little glimpse of home away from home), working on a DIY project, reading, writing, perusing Pinterest for the very best recipes, or cooking…and always with coffee nearby. Always.

Sandi is the editor and founder of The Joyful Life and also serves as the creative director and designer for the publication and company. She is the visionary behind The Joyful Life Company and has way more ideas than a lifetime will allow…so she’s actively working on focusing and reigning it in!

Christine Morton2

Hi, I’m Christine! I’m an elementary school teacher turned stay-at-home-mom. I’m married to my best friend, Dave and we are the parents of 4 boys (10, 8, 6, and 3) – our greatest gifts. I love to help behind the scenes. Over the years, I’ve served in many different leadership roles, both paid and volunteer, at school, in the community, and at my church. I find joy in helping facilitate and serve in whatever area I’m needed. I have a strong desire to love on, and encourage, women in their day to day life and to remind them that hope has a name…”JESUS!” When I’m not checking off my to-do list, you will most likely find me sipping a cup of coffee, crafting something, singing, or on an adventure with my family.

Christine keeps everything moving forward at The Joyful Life. She basically manages ALL the things – and there are a lot of things to manage. If it needs to be done, it gets done, because she makes sure it gets done.
